CHEER INFORMATION
K thru 7th Fall Cheer
The Grain Valley Sports League offers Cheerleading for K-7th graders. Practice days/times are at the discretion of the coaches. They will cheer at games on Saturdays during Football season.
Cheerleaders are divided by age and will cheer for teams close to their age/grade. The Black Squad (competition squad) will cheer for the older teams and perform at two competitions.
Uniforms include – shell, skirt, lettering, poms, shoes, socks, liner (crop), briefs, t-shirt, bow and bag.
Extra costs that may be incurred include – pink poms for new cheerleaders (we use these for the month of October), and optional tumbling class. Black squad extra fees may include – competition bow, warm-ups, competition fees and camp.
We will participate in fundraising events to help offset the cost.

GVSL reserves the right to suspend a player, coach, parent or any other spectator for excessive violations of rules and any unsportsmanlike behavior that warrants a suspension for up to one year following violation.
